Offer to help and know when "no thanks" is just politeness
Praise them honestly and openly
Quitely disagree, noisy "no's" just make enemies
Really listen to them
Say you're sorry, don't make them assume it
Take good care of their heart
Use good judgement

X-ray your motives before you "help out"
